Off road motorists seriously damage farmers field

Off road vehicles have caused a significant amount of damage to a local farmer's field in Braddan.

Police are looking for witnesses to the incident which happened sometime between Friday 2nd January and the following Saturday.

The field, adjacent to Millennium way, Braddan sustained deep cuts into the turf after vehicles were driven on the soft grass.

Anyone seeking to use a field for off-road pursuits must first have the landowner's permission.

Anyone causing damage to the countryside or private lands could potentially be dealt with by the Police.
