Minister talks of job opportunities created by children's service transfer

21 job opportunities have been created following contractual changes to the Island’s delivery of children’s services.

That’s according to Minister for Health and Social Care Howard Quayle – who says the posts have been ring-fenced at both the department and St. Christopher's Isle of Man.

It follows ‘more constructive discussions’ between government and The Children’s Centre last week - before contracts are transferred to St. Christopher's in February.

17 out of 38 jobs affected by changes to children’s services still aren’t catered for.

However, Minister Quayle explains how the situation has changed for the better:
