Police rescued a man from drowning during an arrest.
The male jumped into Ramsey Harbour trying to escape officers at 11:30am on Saturday morning.
Constable Saskia Baxter then entered the water - swimming out to rescue him.
Constable Mark Kerruish also jumped into the water with a lifebelt and rope, and the man was safely brought ashore.
He has been taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Ramsey Police station on 812234.
