Children's Centre boss calls for transparency

Questions still remain unanswered about why and how government has chosen to change its stance on children's services.

That's the view of The Children's Centre which says it has concerns regarding potential misconduct of decision makers on the Health and Social Care tendering panel.

The majority of services are being taken over by St Christopher's - leaving 61 jobs at risk with few openings for redeployment.

Chief executive John Knight says the organisation was transparent from the off - and that hasn't been reciprocated:
