Ben-my-Chree repair work on schedule

Significant repair work on the Ben-my-Chree is on track to be completed by tomorrow.

That's the assurance from the Steam Packet Company after the boat was grounded on Saturday due to a fault with its steering.

It means hundreds of passengers' travel plans were disrupted.

Passengers have criticised the company for not keeping them properly informed - something which has been blamed on staffing levels.
