Children's services contracts awarded to the St. Christopher's Fellowship are all above board - and currently only affect four kids.

That's the stern response from the Department of Health and Social Care - which says the decision has been assessed by external professionals - not just government.

Contracts for Residential Care Services, Leaving Care Services and a new 'Wraparound Service' have been given to St. Christopher's - the Isle of Man branch has been a registered charity here for over 10 years.

Affected services from The Children’s Centre include four small children’s homes - currently occupied by one child in each home - and could only affect 61 jobs there if it lost further contracts.
