Lessons have been learnt and new policy will be created as a result of this year's Big Debate meetings.
That's according to the man in charge of Policy and Reform Chris Robertshaw who says government has taken the feedback on board.
The meetings were the first time that government has gone out to the public to explain the key challenges it is facing.
A random selection of the public was invited to have their say using voting technology.
