A warning has gone out not to use Sky Lanterns during the Christmas period.
The lanterns are made up of paper, supported by a wire or wooden frame, to get them airborne a suspended fuel cell is ignited.
They've resulted in a number of health and safety concerns, particulary from farmers with reports that a cow died after eating one after the lantern landed in a field over the summer.
Another incident in the UK saw a lantern land on the roof of a house setting it alight.
We spoke to local farmer Paul Faragher about the issue in September, he says they're a major hazard:
