More evidence of a rise in the number of pensioners on the Island has come to light.
A recent Quarterly Economic Report to the Council of Ministers suggests that there's been a growth in number of people of pensionable age.
The number of older people is projected to rise from 16,000 in 2014 to 26,000 by 2035.
£234 million is being spent on Health and Social Care this year - a quarter of government's total gross budget - which can no longer be sustained.
