Three squads of shooters braved the cold wet and windy conditions at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point range on Sunday in the second of the winter Down the Line league.
Mark Riley was the leader at the halfway stage of the 50 target competition, using the second barrel once for a score of 25/74. Marty Kneen was second on 23/69 with Kevin Oates and Ted Kermeen in joint third on 24/67.
Riley continued his excellent form in the second round with another 25/74 to take the win on 50/148. Kneen was second with 48/144 and Oates was third with 47/132.
