Commissioners around the Island are voicing strong opposition to planned rent hikes.
Representatives from Malew, Ramsey and Onchan have written to the Health and Social Care Minister querying plans to impose a five per cent increase in April.
They're calling on a halt to the rise for public sector housing tenants until a more honest and transparent discussion has taken place.
