Reports suggest drugs linked to Bolton deaths

More details are beginning to emerge concerning the deaths of two local men in England over the weekend.

They were found in accommodation above a pub in Bolton.

One of the two has been named in a UK publication as Torin Lakeman, a Manx student currently at Aberystwyth University, the second man has been named on social media as his brother Jack.

It's reported that the pure form of ecstasy tablet known as MDMA played a part in the deaths - as a consequence the university has issued a warning about the drug.

Results of the post-mortem and toxicology report are expected to be released in due course.
