The public is currently being consulted on ways to enhance the planning system.
A consultation launched yesterday with the feedback set to shape the legislation that places land and buldings into various categories known as 'use classes'.
It's all geared toward making the use class change easier without the need to seek planning approval.
Through cutting the red tape it would also reduce the work load placed on officers, allowing them to focus on other areas of work.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says it forms part of government's desire to simplify it's processes:
