Chibbanagh Plantation to close for forestry works

Woodlands near Douglas will be closed off to the public until February 2015.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will close Chibbanagh Plantation whilst forestry works take place.

Restocking felled areas will take place shortly following the works, replacing absent conifers with a mixed-broad leaf species.

A new car park, picnic area and clearer signage will become available over the course of next year.
