Spooks film shot on Island to be released in May

The film version of Spooks, which was shot on the Island earlier this year, will be released in cinemas in May.

Pinewood Pictures has given the release date for Spooks: The Greater Good as May 8th.

The spy thriller is based on the long-running TV show and stars Game of Thrones star Kit Harington and Peter Firth who was in the original series.

Crews spent 15 days on the Island filming at various locations including Douglas, Scarlett and the Gaiety Theatre.
