Public react to post office closures

There's been strong opposition to plans to shut the Island's two largest post offices.

It was announced yesterday the Isle of Man Post Office wants to close the loss-making Douglas and Ramsey branches, with the operations to be taken on by the nearby Spar stores.

The Regent Street and Parliament Street branches were responsible for two thirds of the annual £750,000 loss.
