Confidentiality surrounding government contracts is being scaled back.
The process in which they are prepared by various departments is being reviewed and changed.
The issue has come to the fore recently following the loss generated by The Jacksons' concert.
The Department of Economic Development cited "commercial confidentiality" as the reason why it couldn't release how much taxpayer's money had been lost.
