Chief Minister to take mid-term report before Tynwald

The Chief Minister will deliver his mid term report in this month's sitting of Tynwald.

The 'Securing a Sustainable Future for our Island' report gives progress updates on governments three key objectives, to protect the vulnerable, grow the economy and balance the budget.

Chief Minister Allan Bell concedes that the Island has bore the brunt of government's efforts to achieve these targets, and says there are still more difficult decisions to make.

We asked if government is where he would have wanted them to be at this point when he took up the role in 2011.
