Serious stabbing in Douglas this morning

Police were called to a stabbing in Douglas early this morning.

Officers were called to the scene on Hilltop Rise at about 1:40am - where they found a man with serious injuries.

The victim is in a serious, but not life threatening condition at Noble's Hospital.

A man was arrested nearby and is now in police custody.

A number of witnesses gave an early account of what had taken place, and forensic officers will be at the address today to examine the scene.
