First video conference in Tynwald Committee today

A video conference will take place for the first time in a Tynwald committee today.

It'll play its part in the Landlord and Tenants Private Housing Bill Committee in the Legislative Council between the Minister for Policy and Reform and a legislating officer in Brussels.

Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas has been helping to organise the use of the technology.

He says it's cheaper and more efficient than flying someone over for a short meeting:
