Plans to introduce and increase parking charges in Douglas are receiving mixed reviews from the public.
A range of controversial measures are being brought in by the Department of Infrastructure to help save £5 million this financial year.
They include increasing charges in Douglas car parks, reducing free disk parking on the promenade to one hour and charging to park on the walkway - meters were installed earlier this week.
