A man who supplied controlled drugs to an inmate at the prison has been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
53-year-old Graham Johnson pleaded guilty to handing over three different types of medication during a prison visit on September 13th.
At Douglas Courthouse this week the court heard how a Kinder Egg containing around 40 tablets was found on the prisoner.
This was in addition to tobacco which Mr Johnson also admitted supplying.
He's been remanded in prison and will next appear at Douglas Courthouse tomorrow morning.
The Douglas man is also awaiting sentencing for arson after pleading guilty to causing a fire at Grainagh Court in June.
