Taxpayers' money lost on Jacksons concert

Government lost money bringing The Jacksons to the Island - but it's refusing to reveal how much.

The announcement was made in Tynwald yesterday after questions were raised as to the level of profit being generated by the Villa Marina on government sponsored shows.

Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly concedes it didn't do as well as hoped but says he can't reveal the details.  

However Onchan MHK Peter Karran says as it involves tax payers' money the figures should be revealed:
