Credit union plans gain support

Efforts to create a new credit union in the Isle of Man are stepping up.

The Manx Credit Union now has over 450 written expressions of support - before it can be introduced government needs to update existing legislation.

A public awareness day is being held tomorrow in Strand Street so that more support can be drummed up.
