Government to build confidence in fishing industry

Fishermen will begin to have confidence in government's decisions over the management of fish stocks within Manx waters.

That's the message from the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister who says progress is being made.

DEFA has now closed the queen scallop fishery as the total allowable catch, as recommended from scientific evidence from Bangor University, has been landed.
