Winter fire hazards are being flagged in an effort to stop firefighters being called out.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service has published a guide highlighting the dangers of things like overloaded plug sockets and poorly managed bonfires.
The service is also appealing for people to be careful when drying clothes in front of an open fire and to check electric blankets for potentially dangerous faults.
