Death by dangerous driving teenager back in court today

A teenager accused of causing death by dangerous driving will appear at Douglas Courthouse today.

18-year-old Craig Bridgewater will appear before Deemster Montgomorie to enter a plea to the charge.

The Peel man is alleged to have been driving a Ford Fiesta which crashed on the Switchback Road in Peel in March.

The collision resulted in the death of 14-year-old schoolgirl Lucia Porter.

He's also charged with having no driving licence or insurance.
