Motorists asked to be careful of localised floods

Motorists are being asked to take care whilst driving on the roads today.

It follows last night's heavy rainfall - which has caused problems in most areas around the Island.

There's some localised flooding on the roads - but Station Road in Ballasalla is badly affected near to its entrance with the Balthane Industrial Estate.

Police say the public should be aware that the next flooded section of road could be just around the corner.
