Contingency plans are being put in place to minimise any disruption caused by the potential closure of Blackpool Airport.
Citywing says it's now in discussions to operate its daily Blackpool flights into a different airport 10 miles away.
It's after the airport's owners confirmed they wanted to sell - if no buyer is found the airport is likely to close on October 15th.
Talks to secure a sale and protect its long term future are continuing - Citywing says it will work with any prospective purchaser to keep the "vital air link alive".
The company has apologised to passengers for the uncertainty and potential inconvenience caused by the announcement.
