Bowel cancer gene testing should be done on the Island.
That's according to consultant colorectal surgeon at Noble's Hospital Giovanni Tabala.
He says whilst it's expensive it could mean the families of patients with the disease may discover their risk sooner.
Six people out of 100 will get colorectal cancer - only two per cent will have inherited it from a family member.
