Man arrested following pub worker assault

Police are investigating after a staff member at a Laxey pub was allegedly assaulted by a punter.

It happened in the Mines Tavern beer garden at about 8.50pm on Saturday.

The man was taken to Noble's hospital for treatment - a 33-year-old man from the north of the Island has been arrested and will appear in court this morning.

Sergeant Andy Kneen says they still want to talk to any witnesses:
