The Chief Minister should be elected by the Manx public - that's according to our listeners.
It follows the news that the Positive Action Group is hosting a meeting to debate the topic at the end of next month.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan will be arguing for the introduction of a public elected Chief, and Rushen MHK Juan Watterson will be arguing against.
Our listeners have been having their say on our Facebook page, Jane says the Manx public should be able to elect people making life changing decisions on their behalf.
Whilst Pete says that the electorate should be voting in who they believe to be the most capable of running the Island - not government.
The debate will take place on October 27th at the Manx Legion Club between 7:30pm and 9:30pm - the public are being encouraged to attend.
