There's been a mixed reaction to the news that plans for a continental market in Douglas this year have been scrapped.
The Island has to compete with other towns and cities across the UK and Europe and our location makes it less financially viable for some people to trade here.
Our listeners have been having their say - Tracey says she'll miss having the chance to buy something different.
Sam says it made the town feel festive and Tony describes it as another attraction biting the dust - however Liza says it is a good decision and it should be mixed up so that it is fair on local traders.
