Is better competition in the Island's telecoms market on the horizon?

Wi-Manx has applied to the Communications Commission for a full telecoms licence.

The communications commission will soon issue a consultation on the matter - and following that, a ruling will be made.

Only recently Sure applied to provide its own fixed-line service which Wi-Manx is also looking to dish out to customers if it's successful.
