Other options need to be considered to help fund the legal aid system on the Isle of Man.
That's the view of a committee which is overviewing how people receive legal advice and guidance when they can't pay for it.
Concerns have been raised about how much money government is spending on providing the service with the Treasury Minister saying it was 'writing blank cheques'.
