A local charity will be providing a new programme of services for people with dementia.
The Alzheimer's Society is also currently conducting research to find out how many people suffer with the illness on the Isle of Man.
Service delivery manager Valerie Stratford-Parson expects the findings will show around 5,000 sufferers and their carers are in need of practical and emotional support.
She told us how the service has progressed and how to book a place on the first session at Ramsey Town Hall:
