Could road works on Glencrutchery Road spell the end for the iconic TT scoreboard?

Its future is currently in doubt with the Department of Economic Development saying all options are under consideration.

Road works planned for 2017 would require the board to be dismantled - structural engineers' say the steel which supports it needs replacing.

Ideas being looked at include a new manual scoreboard, a digital scoreboard or a mix of the two.

A Facebook group has been set up to campaign against its removal.

The department says it understands the history and heritage associated with it and no final decisions have been made.
