Young motorists are being encouraged to take part in a major driving event this Friday after a number of serious crashes.
The Young Drivers Manx Motor Meet is aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds and will give them the opportunity to learn new skills and tips and ensure their cars are ready for the winter.
It's a joint initiative involving the police, Youth Service, Road Safety Team and Manx Auto Sport - the event is being held in the Bowl car park between 7.30pm and 10pm
As many young people as possible are being encouraged to turn up and take advantage of the friendly and practical advice on offer.
