Patients at Noble's Hospital now have access to individual bedside TVs.
It's thanks to a donation from the Noble's Hospital Gift Trustees and the League of Friends that 260 patients can now watch over 50 channels when they're admitted.
The contribution from the two groups means there will be no cost to patients for the equipment.
Positioning of the televisions, and the provision of headphones and subtitles, allows treatment to continue without distracting other patients, visitors and staff.
The chairman of the League of Friends says bringing entertainment to the bedside can help to reduce anxiety and speed up recovery.
