A 19-year-old has been found guilty of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
Ramsey man Declan Cummins had pleaded not guilty to the charge but magistrates yesterday convicted him following a six day summary trial.
51-year-old motorcyclist James McFarlane, who was from Scotland, died as a result of injuries sustained on August 22nd last year.
He was involved in the collision which happened on Central Promenade in Douglas near to the Castle Mona.
Mr Cummins will be sentenced on October 17th.
