One of the Island's longest standing headteachers has announced he will be retiring at Christmas.
David Trace has held the top job at Ramsey Grammar School since 1997.
In that time he has overseen major transformation of the two school buildings - student numbers have also increased by over 400.
Throughout his career he has also worked in Zambia, held positions across Cheshire, and even coached the World Veteran Rowing Champions.
He told us what he considers the biggest challenge he's faced during his time teaching in the north:
