People on the Isle of Man will never need to investigate crimes themselves - despite cutbacks in the police force.
That's the message from the Home Affairs Minister who says that unlike UK citizens who are being encouraged to investigate offenses themselves people here would never be advised to.
An inspection of police forces in England and Wales has found that criminal damage and car crime are 'on the verge of being decriminalised'.
