A 19-year-old from Colby has been given 180 hours of community service for his part in a fatal road traffic collision.
Andrew Reeday was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse this afternoon after pleading guilty to allowing another teenager to drive his car with no licence or insurance.
He also pleaded guilty to wasting 40-hours of police time.
The Ford Fiesta crashed on the Switchback Road near Peel on March 8th – resulting in the death of 14-year-old schoolgirl Lucia Porter.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes also disqualified him from driving for nine months and fined him £300.
