Police offer advice on threatening e-mail scam

Don't worry and press delete - that's the message to anyone who's received a malicious or nasty e-mail.

Police say another scam is doing the rounds which makes threats to kill and offers the recipient the opportunity to buy a 'kill contract' to prevent it from happening.

Officers say the e-mail is poorly worded and the sender refers to being in Africa - however they say they are worried it could cause serious distress to the elderly or vulnerable.
