Builders have been making the most of the quiet spell in schools over the last six weeks, progressing numerous capital projects.
It is the one time of the year when significant works can be carried out uninterrupted.
As well as the bigger budget schemes a number of schools have seen maintenance improvements made to toilets, kitchens and roofing.
Ballakermeen High School has seen the most significant expenditure this summer with improvements made to the sixth form centre and new business studies facility.
