Does the Isle of Man still have the competitive edge needed to attract new financial business?
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly certainly thinks so, and has confirmed talks are ongoing with a number of banks to secure their Island business.
The Rushen MHK says he thinks measures like the FATCA tax sharing agreement will not have a negative impact, but serve to bolster the Island's reputation on the international business stage.
