The Steam Packet told us the Manannan is back to the grind following its cancelled Liverpool sailing.
Monday evening's sailing from Liverpool to Douglas was cancelled - it began its journey back to the Isle of Man shortly after midday on Tuesday.
The decision was made following the exhausting of all options to remedy an electrical control system fault - preventing one of the engines from starting.
Specialist engineers attended Manannan on Tuesday morning to repair the vessel, and she returned to service without issue that day.
