Builders are making unsolicited visits to homes and pestering householders into having work done.
The Office of Fair Trading tell us that despite numerous warnings, householders are still falling prey to rogue builders.
It says some are visiting the Island for a few days before moving on, leaving their victims having to put right expensive shoddy workmanship.
