Appleby acts for Pokerstars in billion dollar deal

The local branch of law firm Appleby has recently acted for Pokerstars during its sale to Amaya Gaming Group.

The deal, estimated to be worth nearly $5 billion, is the biggest of its kind to ever be completed in the Isle of Man.

Appleby was working as legal advisor to Pokerstars' parent company the Oldford Group.
