Students heading to university are being encouraged to get the MenC vaccination.
The vaccine will protect the students against the rare but life threatening disease meningitis.
Although uncommon it can occur in young adults - however it is completely preventable with the MenC vaccine.
People are more at risk just after starting university as they'll be mixing with new people some of whom may unknowingly carry the bacteria.
If you're aged between 17 and 25 and want to find out more you should make an appointment with your GP.
